Interview up at Author Exchange Blog

With all the excitement yesterday, I forgot to mention that Linda Faulkner at the Author Exchange Blog posted an interview with me yesterday. I'm the second one down on the list now, but go have a read. You might learn something new or interesting about me and my writing philosophy.

Call for Submissions

I'm compiling an anthology: Beneath the Heel of the Delta. It's a collection of femdomme stories set in the American South. Submission guidelines can be found here. I will take submissions until 1 June 2010, and I look forward to reading what you've got.

It's alive!

While the English Beat played last night, my book went live. You can now download The Lovely Kittengirls of Mew Orleans from Loose Id. I'm so excited, and a little exhausted. I only got about five hours' sleep. We got in after the show, around two in the morning. By seven, I was wide awake thinking about what was happening with the book. What will my Google Alerts tell me over the next couple of days? What will my Analytics look like? ?Aargh! I didn't know so much stress would be involved on the day it actually happened. I just figured...sit back and enjoy.
Well, let me talk about the show last night to get my mind off of other things. First, we missed Outlaw Nation. We were drinking Irish coffees at Pravda on Decatur Street, waiting to meet up with some friends. But we got to the House of Blues just as Fishbone went on. That was some old school funky ska there. And the guys have been around forever, but they still rock. The lead singer was doing cartwheels on the stage and …

Lundi Gras! And only 15 hours to go...

I plan to be out on the streets of New Orleans tonight, mask in hand, enjoying the sites and celebrating, after 12 a.m., the release of The Lovely Kittengirls of Mew Orleans. I have such a knot in my stomach that I can't stand it! Wouldn't it just be the most wonderful thing if the sales are just HUGE on Mardi Gras day?

I can't wait!

It is Friday. Tuesday, The Lovely Kittengirls of Mew Orleansreleases. And it's Mardi Gras weekend! I get five days off in a row, and the English Beat is playing on Monday night. What could be better. I will celebrate all the way through until the end of the Hornets game on Wednesday night. I hope you'll join me, and the best way to do that is buy a copy of Kittengirls!

The Bean-Nighe Accepted

The anthology Spectral Sensations has accepted my story "The Bean-Nighe." I'm completely thrilled to be included. The story is set in Antebellum New Orleans and includes a little Irish mythology mixed in with the sex. It should be out in six months to a year.

Amazon Author Page set up

I plan on adding more titles to be available on Kindle directly from me this year. I have an anthology I'm putting together which should release to Kindle in March, so stay tuned here and on my Amazon Author Page.
